After graduating from De Montfort University in Leicester with a 1st class honors in Graphic Design and Illustration, Emily joined Hyphen as a graphic designer. With a keen eye for detail and an appreciation of clean, confident design, she works with the rest of the studio on a variety of branding and design requirements for clients. Emily has a particular interest in bespoke typography, be it digital or hand-drawn, and likes to utilise this in her work to enable clients to make a more unique impression with their branding.

Outside of the studio Emily is dedicated to keeping the tea-trade in business (she loves a cuppa!) and she can often be found playing guitar or getting bendy in a yoga class.

Gemma has spent the last 13 years building experience in various in-house marketing roles and also working with a variety of different clients within different industries for a marketing agency. Gemma joined Hyphen in August 2014 to focus on brand strategy; to help clients determine how, what, where, when and to whom they can communicate their brand messages.

Outside of work, Gemma is a mum to two children so spends a lot of time at after school activities, at parks and trying to encourage them to enjoy walking in the great outdoors! She is also a school Governor, enjoys baking and is a member of an amateur netball team!

After spending three years as the lead designer for a marketing agency, Jenni joined Hyphen in 2010 and helped rebrand the company to Hyphen. As the Creative Director, she manages all client projects through initial consultations to completion. She has a strong passion for design and enjoys working with both new and existing clients across a wide range of industries. Building and styling brands has always been Jenni’s strong point and the part of her job that she loves the most.

Outside of work, Jenni spends most of her time with her daughter Sofia and husband Tim, but when she can get a moment to herself they are often spent in her craft workshop at home where she does sewing, woodworking or painting.

Jason bought the printing.com Leicester store in 2004 and has since developed the business, now known as Hyphen, from being just a print store to a successful branding design studio. Jason works closely with the entire design team as well as handling the day-to-day administration of the business and looking after all print management requirements.

Outside of work, Jason loves to kick a football around and enjoys pottering in his garden, growing fruit that he turns into jam and chutney. Jason is also a big family man, spending most weekends taxiing his children around the county… which is why he loves Monday mornings when he can get a rest!
